June 11, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Apptix (apptix.com) announced yesterday it has added new anti-spam and content filtering capabilities to its suite of on-demand messaging and collaboration solutions for service providers and resellers. Using technology developed by its partner Clearswift (clearswift.com), the new solution enables customers to protect corporate information and filter out spam and other inappropriate content.

Based on Clearswift's e-Sweeper, Apptix's anti-spam blocking solution analyzes keywords and the context in which they are being used. The content filtering solution enables companies to manage both inbound and outbound e-mail content, filtering out inappropriate material.

Apptix's new anti-spam and content-filtering offerings are fully integrated with Apptix?s hosted Microsoft Exchange solutions.
