March 10, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting firm Aplus.Net (aplus.net) announced on Wednesday it is now offering free bulletin board software to customers who wish to add public forums to their Web sites.
Aplus.Net has incorporated the popular open source bulletin board software phpbb into its Web hosting packages. Bulletin boards, says the company, enable Web site owners to create online communities and generate repeat traffic by inviting visitors to post messages on the site for users to read and reply to.
New and existing Aplus.Net hosting customers can create and moderate bulletin boards via the Aplus.Net web Control Panel — a collection of tools that hosting customers use to administrate, publish, design, and market their Web sites.
