October 21, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Aplus.net (www.aplus.net) announced on Tuesday it has launched a completely redesigned company website, as well as a new corporate logo. The announcement comes just a year-and-a-half after the company’s last revision to its logo, representing its new corporate philosophy, “Everything for your business online.”Similarly, the redesign follows a recent trend by hosting providers, including CrystalTech, Server Intellect, Host Color, and Network Solutions, who have all launched new websites in the past couple months.
The changes are the latest steps in the company’s ongoing efforts to upgrade and improve the functionality of its services in order to “continue to provide the best possible online experience” for its customers.
Last week, the company launched the Aplus.net Forum, a new service that offers blogging, networking and online chat and communication for the company’s customer base.
Aplus.net says the new design offers “improved navigation and clearer messaging to visitors,” making the Aplus.net website “more appealing to customers.”
While the website maintains its classic, intuitive aesthetic quality, using a similar color palette as its previous design, the company has streamlined both the site’s top and left-hand navigation bars for a more simplified browsing experience
Aplus.net’s signature logo has also been redesigned to help the company’s branding efforts and to emphasize the fact that the company maintains its innovative vision for the future.
“If you’re not growing in this marketplace, you’re losing ground,” says Alex Yevelev, Aplus.net’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re very proud to have had more than 16 years of success and growth in an extremely competitive industry, where most companies don’t last more than a few years. However, we also understand the need to continually update our products and services to keep up with a rapidly changing online marketplace.
The company has already made several changes earlier this year, completely rebranding its shared and dedicated hosting services, introducing e-commerce functionality to its Web design service, the launch of its customer forum, naming Phillip Spencer the company’s chief executive officer, and its new Business Mail service.
Aplus.net offers a range of Web hosting and Internet services, including shared hosting, dedicated hosting, Web design, online marketing, e-commerce, and domain registration.
