Aplus.Net Finalist in San Diego Award

October 18, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (aplus.net) announced on Tuesday it has been recognized as a finalist at the 13th Annual High Tech Award for Internet/Web Commerce. The event is held each year by the San Diego chapter of the AeA (aeanet.org), a national non-profit trade organization formerly known as the American Electronics Association.

“We’re very proud to receive this honor,” says Theo Ivanov, director of marketing for Aplus. “To be singled out as one of San Diego’s top companies by one of the nation’s leading technology industry promoters is a huge endorsement that speaks to the quality of what we do.”

The distinction recognizes San Diego companies for their outstanding “achievements in technological innovation, civic contributions and industry accomplishments.” The finalists include companies that span a range of industry categories such as software, semiconductors and medical devices, as well as outstanding emerging growth.

AeA is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents the technology industry. Partnering with small, medium and large-sized companies, AeA lobbies governments at the state, federal and international levels. It provides access to capital and business opportunities, and offers select business services and networking programs.
