Aplus.Net Chosen as Innovation All-Star

April 20, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (aplus.net) announced on Friday it has been selected as one of the finalist in California Innovation Corridor’s “Innovation All-Stars.”

Aplus.Net will be one of 75 finalists honored at the two-day California Tech 100 conference, which will be held at the Irvine Hilton on April 24 and 25.

“We’re proud to be named among the very best in a state thatÂ’s well known for its technological innovation,” says Aplus.Net’s senior VP for worldwide sales Clarke Caines, who will be representing Aplus.Net at the conference. “Although our corporate headquarters has recently moved to the Kansas City metro area, our presence in California is still very strong, with a state-of-the-art data center and a large part of our sales team still based in San Diego County.”

Managed by the California Space Authority, and administered through the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency, the California Innovation Corridor is one of the state’s initiatives to foster innovation and includes more than 60 partner organizations throughout 13 counties. Corridor’s partners reviewed nearly 300 nominees before reducing the list of 75 Innovation All-Stars.
