According to APC, there are several issues data center operators need to consider today such as rising costs, heat and power management, the convergence of facilities and IT management and the lack of standards and benchmarks posing a major challenge to system design, installation, operation and maintenance.
APC’s data center advisor for Asia Pacific, David Blumanis, says the solution to meet these challenges would require changing the way data centers are designed, installed, operated, managed and maintained. By integrating rack, power and cooling into a standardized, modular data center system, InfraStruXure offers improvements in availability, agility and TCO, says the company.
In addition, if a SMB wants a more flexible solution, APC also offers a mobile on-demand data center solution housed in a container truck that supports up to 125 to 250 servers.
