December 21, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Internet gateway content management systems provider Anchiva Systems (anchiva.com) announced on Wednesday it has appointed Charles Clark as its CEO and a member of its board of directors.
Clark brings more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing and a successful track record of increasing revenues in high growth markets. The veteran of the Silicon Valley semiconductor and network security industries played a key role in increasing margins, initiating new partnerships and broadening into new markets in his previous positions.
Prior to Anchiva, Clark served as VP of operations at NetScreen Technology. During this five-year period, he helped build revenue from $1 million to $105 million per quarter, helping NetScreen to complete one of the most successful IPOs in 2001 until it was eventually later acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004.
“Clark’s expertise in semiconductor and security manufacturing operations is a perfect fit for further honing Anchiva’s multiple-ASIC content security management system at the network’s edge,” says Franny Lee, partner for AsiaVest Partners and a member of Anchiva’s board of directors. “Throughout his career, Clark repeatedly sharpened and established new processes that were instrumental in boosting revenues. We look forward to drawing on his experience.”
