Allstream Unveils Managed Intrusion Services

October 23, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Communications solutions provider Allstream (allstream.com), formerly AT&T Canada, unveiled new managed intrusion protection services today.

The company said businesses that outsource its managed instruction protection services would receive 24/7 monitoring of their network infrastructure and response to intrusion detection without having to maintain an in-house solution.

The service suite includes incident monitoring, custom design and tuning, end-to-end management, and real-time reporting.

Allstream said it will back the offering with a service level agreement that guarantees performance for the monitoring, management and protection of networks and systems for its customers.
