Allegiance Picks edocs for e-Billing

February 10, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Customer self-service and e-billing software solution developer edocs Inc. (edocs.com) announced on Monday that Allegiance Telecom has chosen the company’s eaSuite to enable its business customers to manage their online statements, invoices and other account-related data.

The edocs platform, says the company, is an important part of the customer portal strategy of Allegiance Telecom, a national facilities-based integrated communication provider (ICP) serving medium and small business customers. The company, says edocs, is one of the first ICPs in North America to deploy a comprehensive customer self-service and online account management capability.

Using the edocs solutions, says the company, Allegiance Telecom expects enhanced levels of customer satisfaction as clients self-manage their telecommunications bills using the Allegiance Invoice Manager. The company also expects to realize cost savings in customer care, billing and payment operations.
