July 29, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Alentus (alentus.com) announced on Tuesday it is offering a summer promotion for its affiliate program which more than triples the affiliate payout on approved annual contracts.
According to the Alentus announcement Tuesday, for a limited-time, Alentus’ will increase its payouts to $85 for all hosting plans including Windows hosting and database hosting. New affiliates are also given a $50 sign-up incentive.
“We have found that a significant portion of our clients refer customers to us on a regular basis,” Alentus sales manager Peter McNeill said in a statement. “This promotion allows us the opportunity to thank our clients for the new referrals by financially rewarding the participants of our affiliate program.”
Free to join, the affiliate program requires no technical knowledge according to Alentus. Affiliates are given variety of textual links and banners providing website owners an additional means of generating regular supplemental profits off an existing website.
At the beginning of the year, web hosting equity firm EnActen acquired Alentus for an undisclosed amount. Alentus delivers SharePoint hosting to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses, and customized solutions to larger corporations including Fortune 500 clients.
