December 4, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting automation solution developer Alabanza (alabanza.com) said on Wednesday that it has promoted Andrew Fleischer to chief financial officer and Shelley Evans to chief operating officer. Alabanza also announced that it has appointed Eric Rice as the new vice president of sales and marketing.
The Maryland-based company said Fleischer and Evans helped the company achieve profitability in 2001 and reach $27 million in revenue by 2002.
Fleischer, who was promoted from his position as vice president of finance, previously served as financial manager for Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. Fleischer has a background in accounting, finance, and systems with high-tech companies.
Evans, who was promoted from vice president of operations, previously served as the vice president of operations for Hosting Ventures before joining Alabanza.
