Akshay to Colocate at QTS' Miami Data Center

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator QTS (www.qualitytech.com) announced on Friday that it will provide colocation services to software developor Akshay Software International (www.akshay.com) out of the company’s Miami data center.

The customer win follows QTS’ expansion of its Santa Clara data center earlier this year.

The move to QTS Miami offers Akshay improved bandwidth, more power, and greater built-in redundancy to support its growing business and deliver requisite reliability.

As a long-standing QTS customer, Akshay will also receive continuity of professional services and support from the company’s certified technical staff.

QTS’ Miami data center is a category-5, hurricane-rated, high-power-density data center, which was custom-built by QTS to meet the region’s customer-specific requirements.

The facility is outfitted with high-capacity electrical, mechanical and network systems to support mission-critical applications in a secure, reliable environment.

The company’s trained technical staff includes facility and electrical maintenance engineers, data center operations experts, network architects and security officers that provide on-site 24-hour support.

“We’re pleased to expand our relationship with Akshay to deliver the high-quality facility and support that the company has come to expect from QTS,” says Tesh Durvasula, chief marketing and business officer for QTS. “Akshay’s choice confirms QTS’ industry-leading capabilities and demonstrates the value that QTS can provide to businesses in financial services and beyond.”
