AITDomains Virtual Registrars Succeed

November 5, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain registrar AITDomains (aitdomains.com) announced on Monday its Virtual Domain Registrar program (aitdomains.com/vrprogram) has generated thousands of dollars in revenue for hundreds of Internet entrepreneurs and resellers. Many have used the program to register, renew, or transfer hundreds of domains, while some enterprising customers have more than 5,000 domains under their accounts.

“The user creates the pricing structure, controls the registration process, and owns the customer in every substantive way,” says Jamie Moore, product manager for the program. “The program is white-labeled, so AITDomains.com is invisible to the end user, though there is a support system for virtual registrars.”

Customers can join the program for a dollar, plus the wholesale rate which resellers can mark up as they desire. To sign up for the program, users must create an account, submit the online affiliate registrar application, then print, sign and fax the affiliate registrar agreement.

The Virtual Domain Registrar works for all top-level domains, the administration area enables easy customer management and integrates easily into a user’s existing control panel. AITDomains says the program is a natural compliment to anyone offering hosting, e-commerce and other virtual IT services.

AIT, AITDomains’ parent company, announced last week it released meeting bowl, a new collaboration application that enables users to host and attend online meetings, seminars, or classes.
