AIT to Launch Radio Program

February 28, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Wednesday that it will be launching a new radio program called “The Clarence Briggs Show” that focuses on the impact the Internet has had on everyone’s lives.

The program is scheduled to debut in April on Cumulus Broadcasting’s WFNC in North Carolina and will be hosted by AIT’s CEO Clarence Briggs, who will be bringing in guests to discuss and debate cutting edge issues and look at how the Internet has impacted politics, privacy, religion, national security, the legal system and marketplace. AIT says it will also be distributing the program on its website as a podcast and that plans are currently underway for national syndication across multiple major markets.

“We chose Cumulus Broadcasting as the platform from which to launch the radio show because of their commitment to excellence in broadcasting, the quality of their listenership and their national reach,” says Alphonso Whitfield, VP of marketing and business development for AIT.

Go Daddy’s founder and CEO Bob Parsons was the first Web hosting personality to launch an Internet radio show in 2005 that was originally called “Life Online with Bob Parsons.” It has since been changed to “Go Daddy Live” (bp.bobparsons.com/gdshop/bp/show.asp?ci=9963) and is broadcast from Go Daddy’s corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona

Earlier this week, AIT launched some offerings targeted towards resellers that includes reseller hosting, domain registration and becoming a search engine through AIT’s tyBit.
