AIT Says Dedicated Hosting Picking Up

February 1, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider AIT (ait.com) announced on Monday that many of its customers have moved to dedicated machines in recent months, implementing strategies based on the product line the company introduced last year.

Lower hardware pricing and more powerful machines, says AIT, have resulted in thousands of customers making the switch to dedicated servers. In late 2004, AIT rolled out cost-effective dedicated servers, priced less than $40 per month.

“AIT has become my benchmark for speed, service, and reliability,” says AIT customer and software developer Anthony Carbone. “I upgraded because my company relies on e-commerce for most of its revenue, and with about 30,000 unique visitors per month, I can’t afford performance issues. And, I haven’t had any.”
