June 23, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Monday it has launched an enterprise webmail solution (ait.com/enterprisemail/?pdkw=pr-fr-06-23-2008) that is bundled with “all the latest in security and management level features you could ever hope for in a mail application.”

AIT says its Enterprise Web Mail offering includes an intuitive webmail interface that is compatible with any browser, an enhanced address book feature set that enables customers to import and export contacts to and from a CSV file, a customizable HTML interface and an easy-to-use admin control panel.

The solution can also be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook, comes with an enhanced scheduler feature set and email messages can be viewed within a tabbed interface, enabling quick navigation of messages, says the company.

According to the company’s website, the solution is available in two packages, Enterprise Mail 1 and Enterprise Mail 2.

For $99.95 per month, or $59.97 with an annual contract, Enterprise Mail 1 comes with 40GB disk space, 512MB RAM, 2TB data transfer, unlimited user accounts and unlimited domains.

“For months we had been receiving requests from our customers telling us they wanted better reliability, more security and more control over their email application,” says Avery Skelton, director of product development for AIT. “With this solution we are now able to fulfill that need.”

Last month, AIT reported that it had launched a new high performance dedicated server product, including live support, for both Windows and Linux. The new server setup includes “massive” disk space, along with a 2.9 GHz processor and 1GB of memory, virtualization and free domain registration.
