January 25, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched a new line of VPS and enterprise servers.
Prices start at $3.33 per month and features in the new plans include around-the clock support, a free website builder, a large selection of website templates, marketing tools and a free shopping cart system. Both types of packages also come with hefty storage space for 600GB for the VPS plan and two 160GB drives for the Enterprise class plans.
“Most providers only offer virtual hosting, which is merely one simple feature of the VPS,” says Mike Roberts, chief information officer at AIT. “A real VPS is not simply a virtually hosted site on a Web server we control, we give clients ‘virtual root’ access.”
Earlier this month, AIT said that it is continuing to offer customers a $100 per month savings on the Enterprise I Hosting Solution when they sign up for the 12 month prepay option.
