June 29, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Network solution provider Global Internetworking (globalinternetworking.com) announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement with airplane manufacturer Airbus North America (airbus.com).
Global Internetworking will design, deploy and manage a high-capacity wide area network fiber ring, linking Airbus’ Washington, DC headquarters and operations with the company’s nationwide and global high-capacity data transport network.

We have been very pleased with their networking expertise, service and focus on our,” says Charles Fletcher, vice president of IT for Airbus North America. “The new managed network and fiber ring solution that GII is providing will help improve the performance and resilience of our network’s ability to support mission critical business applications.”
The agreement coincides with the launch of Global Internetworking’s new managed network services offering. The solution addresses the need for highly reliable, cost-effective and turnkey wide area network solutions that support advance data networking, MPLS, ethernet and voice over IP applications.
