WHMCS is used for billing and support by Internet service providers. The integration of Aflexi CDN software makes it easier for ISPs to provide these services to customers.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content delivery solutions provider Aflexi (www.aflexi.net) has announced the beta integration of WHMCS (www.whmcs.com) automated billing into the Aflexi CDN management and software platform, enabling service providers and Web hosting companies to more quickly and easily add Aflexi CDN services to their customer base.
A commonly used, all-in-one client management, billing and support solution for online businesses, WHMCS is a favorite of Internet service providers, offering automated billing, provisioning and management, handling the entire process from signup to termination.
According to Aflexi’s Tuesday announcement, Aflexi content devlivery network software is the only CDN solution of its kind to integrate with a Web host-focused billing and support system.
“We added the WHMCS support to make it much simpler for our customers to provide CDN services to their customers,” Aflexi chief executive officer Whei Wong said in a statement. “As many are already using WHMCS for their bandwidth and publishing services billing, it now takes a just couple extra mouse clicks to add Aflexi CDN to those customer’s accounts.”
“There are no other CDN companies that integrate with a hosting-focused billing system,” Whei adds, “Right now, we are the only one.”
Aflexi’s software is designed to provide intuitive account management, bandwidth management, CDN server management and publisher migration, as well as automated installation and software upgrades for CDN server deployment.
Also in an effort to provide easier access for their clients who utilize CDN services, Aflexi features plugins for top Web hosting control panels including cPanel and Parallels Panel, providing a seamless experience of accessing and managing resources.
Earlier this year, Aflexi also launched the FlexiMart platform, a bandwidth exchange platform that enables Web hosts to easily buy, sell and trade bandwidth both at a fixed price and via auction-like bidding. This allows CDNs, content providers and Web hosts merge and expand their networks as needed.
