August 23, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web host Affinity Internet (affinity.com) announced on Tuesday it has been selected as one of Deloitte & Touche’s 2005 Los Angeles Technology Fast 50 winners.
The Los Angeles Technology Fast 50 ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. The rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth from 2000 to 2004.
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had minimum operating revenues of $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and must be classified as a “technology company.” This means they must either own proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues, or devotes a significant portion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
“Affinity’s dedication and focus on improved Web services for small businesses has not only allowed our company to remain competitive, but grow revenues and customer numbers at a healthy rate,” says Jim Collins, president of Affinity Internet. “We are excited and honored to have earned a spot on the Technology Fast 50 list, and truly appreciate Deloitte’s recognition of our growth and technological contributions to small business.”
