Aeria Games Extends CDN Agreement with CDNetworks

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content delivery network CDNetworks (www.cdnetworks.com) has announced that Aeria Games (www.aeriagames.com), one of the world’s fastest growing free-to-play online gaming publishers, has extended its agreement with CDNetworks, more than doubling its traffic commitment.

According to its Friday announcement, CDNetworks is providing Aeria Games added infrastructure for rapid client and patch downloads, providing end users with exceptional online experiences and Aeria Games significant cost savings. CDNetworks provides Aeria Games seamless scalability in both network capacity and geographic reach, supporting growth in the US and European markets.

“Success in the free-to-play online gaming sector is all about the quality of each end user’s encounter with the game and the publishing website,” Aeria Games chief technology officer Terry Ngo said in a statement. “We trust CDNetworks for reliable and trouble free customer service. This allows us to focus on the players’ activities, and the expansion of our portfolio and geographic reach, without worrying about the details of the infrastructure and content delivery cost control.”

Aeria Games, known for the variety and quality of its games, has grown from 4 million users to more than 7 million in 2009 in the past year. It will be launching Hello Kitty Online later this year.
