(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center solution providers AdaptivCool (www.adaptivcool.com) and Bluestone Energy Services (www.bluestoneenergy.com) announced on Tuesday they have partnered to help businesses reduce data center energy consumption.
The companies will offer a single source for cooling optimization, thermal management and monitoring, data center best practices and utility incentives and credits.
AdaptivCool and Bluestone have already started collaborating on a few data center efficiency projects in Boston, Chicago and New York.
The partnership is certainly one that makes sense to both companies on a strategic level, as each company works towards delivering value-added services to their respective customers.
As a data center division of Degree Controls, AdaptivCool provides a suite of energy management solutions for data center airflow and thermal management, such as HotSpotr and AdaptivCool RSIC.
Meanwhile, Bluestone Energy Services provides companies with energy efficiency upgrades and secure utility incentives and credits.
“We are thrilled to be working with Bluestone Energy. Given that data center energy consumption is forecast to double by 2012, this partnership will help us meet the growing need for data center thermal management solutions,” says Rajesh Nair, general manager of AdaptivCool. “Our combined services will result in more efficient and robust data centers throughout the Northeast.”
