March 17, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Application hosting and managed services provider Affiliated Computer Services (acs-inc.com) announced on Thursday that Color Spot Nurseries has extended its SAP hosting contract with ACS for three years. The deal is valued at $1.15 million.
ACS has hosted CSN’s SAP environment for the last three years. Under the extension, ACS will provide application management services with the SAP platform and use CSN hardware to help them reduce costs.
Brian Docili, director of business systems for Color Spot Nurseries, said the company considered hosting its SAP platform in-house, but ACS’s flexibility, affordability, services and willingness to work with its infrastructure convinced it to renew its outsourcing agreement.
