(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Having completed building more than 12,000 square feet of high-density, raised floor space at its Marlborough, Massachusetts facility, managed services provider Access Northeast (www.axsne.com) will showcase its latest colocation facility expansion with an open house on Thursday, May 14, from 3:30 to 7pm.
Offering full and half cabinets, private cages, colocation by the “1U,” and private customer offices, according to Access Northeast’s Tuesday announcement, the 40,000-square-foot data center, located outside of Boston, also houses the Access Northeast Disaster Recovery Center, which allows customers to retrieve and restore vital information following a natural disaster or technology failure. It is also SAS 70 Type II certified, providing security assurance to enterprises and Fortune 500 firms as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
“Access Northeast’s goal is to provide world-class infrastructure, customer service and support to our valued clients and business partners,” Access Northeast chief executive officer Rob Stephenson said in a statement. “Our scalable and flexible solutions result in capital and operational cost reductions for businesses who choose to leverage the economies of scale achieved through our 24/7/365 Marlborough facility, network operations center and professional services staff.”
The Marlborough facility also houses Access Northeast’s Pantheon Managed Services Platform, which delivers a suite of services including scalable, cost-efficient virtualization for primary and replicated customer applications, data storage and backups, security, monitoring and cloud computing infrastructure.
