The new AccelOps 2.1 SP platform provides extensive visibility, proactive alerts, flexible analytics and insight for managing multiple clients across today’s on and off-premise infrastructure, as well as cloud environments.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Integrated data center and cloud service monitoring provider AccelOps (www.accelops.net) has released an updated AccelOps Service Provider edition, which introduces enhancements to multi-tenancy, on and off-premise context, dynamic scaling, and API integration.
According to AccelOps’ Tuesday announcement, the new AccelOps 2.1 SP platform provides extensive visibility, proactive alerts, flexible analytics and service insight for managing multiple clients across today’s on and off-premise infrastructure, as well as cloud environments.
“The 10 to 20-year-old element management approach to data center and network management won’t meet today’s cloud computing and innovative service delivery models,” AccelOps chief executive officer Imin Lee said in a statement. “AccelOps SP integrated monitoring platform delivers the level of operational intelligence, automation and value required by service providers and large enterprises to meet SLA commitments, reduce costs and capitalize on service opportunities.”
AccelOps said it enables managed service providers and large enterprises to meet service levels, increase efficiency and capitalize on new service delivery opportunities. Improving efficiency is especially important given complexity of growing data centers and the prevalence of hybrid service models, where sophisticated operational oversight is crucial for pinpointing issues and coordinating responses.
AccelOps SE, according to the company, offers a cost-effective way to meet service commitments and optimize resources.
New features in AccelOps SP include the addition of a consolidated, multi-tenant, Web-based console that provides an aggregated and customizable view of all infrastructure, both physical and virtual. Further, a single AccelOps cluster can centrally monitor many organizations in both on-premise and off-premise infrastructures using remote AccelOps collectors that do not require agents on monitored systems. Virtual appliance cluster members can be added on-the-fly to enhance performance and support unlimited online data analysis.
The company also released APIs to enable external systems to obtain timely CMDB, search, incident and ticketing details from AccelOps.
