(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center service management solutions provider AccelOps (www.accelops.com) announced on Wednesday that industry veteran Virginia Gambale has joined AccelOps’ advisory board.
The announcement follows AccelOps’ previous appointment in November when it named Stephen Tsuchiyama to the company’s vice president of sales.
Gambale is the founder and managing partner of Azimuth Partners.
The appointment reflects AccelOps’ growth and significant market opportunity for data center and cloud service management.
“I am very pleased to have Virginia Gambale as an advisory board member as her business insight, global experience and results-oriented leadership will serve to fortify our development and success in this expansive market,” says Imin Lee, CEO of AccelOps.
Gambale is an investor and technology leader with a long track record in developing growth strategies, business partnerships and orchestrating successful exits for technology and business service companies.
She has served on over 20 public and private boards including JetBlue, Piper Jaffray, Motive, Workbrain, Synchronoss Technologies, IQ Financial, Knoa, Kurtosys Ltd., and 29West.
She has held senior management positions at global corporations including Merrill Lynch, Marsh & McLennan, Bankers Trust Alex Brown and Deutsche Bank.
She was also a partner at DB Strategic Ventures, ABS Ventures and at DB Capital Partners.
