8 To Infinity is in the process of moving its servers to Telin Singapore data center to improve speed and reliability for its customers
Web host 8 To Infinity announced on Monday that it is moving its servers to Telin Singapore data center to improve speed and reliability for its customers. The move to the Telin data center began this month and is expected to be complete in Q2 2013.
This news comes as 8 To Infinity launched its virtualized hosting services for customers to quickly provision and deploy virtual servers.
8 To Infinity is provisioning new Dell servers, network routers and other equipment for its customers at the Telin data center, to provide more powerful CPUs, faster hard drives and higher performance RAID drives.
The Telin Singapore data center will help 8 To Infinity scale with its growth, according to the press release. The Tier 3 data center features advanced security, scalable power and real-time environmental trend monitoring. Owned by Telkom Indonesia, Telin’s Singapore data center offers a 24x7x365 on-site advanced security system and an uninterrupted power system with power generator backup.
“The Telin data center is a premiere facility that allows 8 To Infinity to scale to higher levels of service and to introduce additional product offerings,” Konstantin Bezruchenko, chief technical officer at 8 To Infinity parent company XBT Holding Ltd said in a statement. “8 To Infinity enjoyed unparalleled growth in 2012. The move to Telin and other initiatives we are making will help 8 To Infinity attain even faster growth in 2013 and maintain its leadership as the top-ranked hosting provider in its market.”
