(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Dedicated hosting provider Triple Fiber Network (www.3fn.net) announced this week it is has expanded its offerings to include fully managed hosting and VPS hosting.
The web host announced last month it signed a long term agreement with Internet service provider Level 3 Communications to become Level 3′s network partner, providing 3FN with fiber-based communications services.
Prior to these new services, the company mainly offered shared hosting, dedicated hosting, and colocation hosting.
The company’s new virtual hosting plans include initial set-up, root access, full control, IP management, OS installation and maintenance, anti-virus and anti-spam installation, reboots, recovery, control panel updates, and application Raid10.
3FN’s new VDS services offer the power of a dedicated server for the price of shared hosting, letting users choose the exact features they need for a fully customized web hosting solution.
All shared hosting plans include control panels and automation tools, using the latest applications such as Plesk 7,8, and 9, which lets users manage domains, email accounts, CRON, MySQL databases, and DNS accounts.
Featuring an Intel 8 Core Xeon processor, 3FN’s four monitoring plans offer a range of options, including ssh, apache server, one time or monthly security audit.
The VDS/VPS 1 plan is priced at $39 per month, and includes 1024MB ECC, 200GB Sata II, 200GB Raid 10 and 300GB 4 IP. The VDS/VPS II plan is priced at $59 per month, and includes 1024MB ECC, 350GB Sata II, 350GB Raid 10 and 345GB 4 IP.
The VDS/VPS III plan is $79 per month, and includes 2048MB ECC, 500GB Sata II, 500GB Raid 10 and 600GB 4 IP. Finally, the VDS/VPS IV plan is $99 per month, and include 4096MB ECC, 500GB Sata II, 500GB Raid 10 and 2000GB 4 IP.
