365 Main Names AZ Facility Clients

February 5, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator 365 Main (365main.com) announced on Tuesday that AGL Networks, Cox Communications and Level 3 are now providing telecommunications services at 365 Main’s 315,000-square foot data center in Chandler, Arizona. Additionally, InterNap is now operating a private network access point from within the facility, which is approximately 15 miles from downtown Phoenix.

The telcos join existing providers AboveNet, AT&T, Cogent, SRP and Qwest in offering services ranging from phone and ethernet connectivity to long-haul data services and dark fiber. The company says that all of its facilities are carrier-neutral, enabling customers to select a connectivity provider.

“Our customers depend on us to power, cool and secure their dense server environments, but enabling them to connect to the outside world is also vital,” says Chris Dolan, 365 Main CEO. “Adding these exceptional companies to our list of telecommunications service providers gives our customers a number of outstanding options — plus the peace of mind that goes along with using multiple providers.”  365 Main says its Chandler facility is the largest colocation data center in Arizona, featuring modern power and cooling infrastructure, low power costs and minimal natural disaster risk. The data center has filled rapidly since it opened in 2006 and is almost at capacity with Fortune 500 tenants from various industries.

Last month, 365 Main announced it joined the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s Critical Peak Pricing program.
