December 20, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Backup and recovery process solution provider Sonasoft (sonasoft.com) reported Wednesday that several of its healthcare customers have had success using its new SonaSafe Point-Click Recovery software for Microsoft Servers.

Customers in the healthcare industry using Sonasoft software have seen reliable and cost-effective protection of their data and emails - an important consideration for companies in the healthcare industry, which must meet HIPAA compliance requirements.

Service providers in the healthcare use Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Windows servers for communication and for storing data and documents. Microsoft has worked with its partners, including Sonasoft, to develop software products and solutions for the healthcare sector. Companies like InterHealth Nutraceuticals, iMedica, Quitnet/Axia Health, California Medical Association, Metagenics and Saint Mary's Health systems have successfully deployed Sonasoft products to protect them from potential disasters.
