Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

December 19, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider 1&1 Internet (oneandone.com) announced on Monday that it would again increase the standards features of its Web hosting packages while maintaining current price points. The move, part of a valu-added campaign kicked off in September, comes just weeks after the company upgraded the same plans, again without a corresponding increase in prices.

The plans will be equipped with additional Web space, traffic and mailboxes, in addition to a new Webmail tool. Linux packages will come with database increases.

The Web space for 1&1's Beginner package will be upped from 1000MB to 5000MB, traffic from 50GB to 250GB, email accounts from 150 to 500 and databases from 1 mySQL to 10 mySQL. 1&1's Home, Business and Developer plans have received similarly significant upgrades.

"Since we began our aggressive campaign to offer the most value for the money, the industry has clearly responded, which is good for competition and great for end users," says Andreas Gauger, chairman of 1&1 Internet. "But we're quite confident that our latest round of enhancements will leave no doubt about where the best values in Web hosting can be found. Some of the features we are now making standard, our competitors charge almost double the price for."

1&1 also expanded the features available with its domain registration packages, without upping prices, in September.
