December 6, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain name registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on Tuesday its Super Bowl advertising plans at Phoenix International Raceway, where it also introduced its new spokesperson Danica Patrick.

"Go Daddy will definitely have an ad, maybe two, in the 2007 Super Bowl," says Bob Parsons, CEO and founder of Go Daddy. "It's the all-time top-rated television event in broadcast history and we have every intention of advertising in the game again."

A 30-second Super Bowl commercial costs nearly $3 million during the February 4 broadcast. Parsons has been using his blog (bobparsons.com) to brainstorm ideas for this year's ad. He says he will use Go Daddy Productions and the Shine Advertising Company to produce the television spot.

Go Daddy Productions created last year's Super Bowl commercial, which raised significant controversy after network officials refused to approve the first thirteen submissions. The Madison, Wisconsin based Shine Advertising Company works with major brands, such as Harley-Davidson, and has already created several "Go Daddy-esque" concepts.
