December 5, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed dedicated server provider SingleHop (singlehop.com) announced on Tuesday it has appointed Trey Gardner to director of business development and marketing. In his new role, Gardner will lead the design, development and growth of several marketing and business development initiatives including the new SingleHop reseller and affiliate programs.

Gardner will also help establish and develop relationships with several of the other large dedicated server business providers that are seeking partnerships. He brings to SingleHop over nine years of experience working in the Web industry, establishing affiliate programs for such companies as IPower Web, LunarPages, Nirve Media, iBoost, Internet Fuel and Host Paba. "Our continued expansion is being driven by increased client opportunities, and Trey will play a key role for SingleHop in assisting our clients with their customized solutions," says Zak Boca, president for SingleHop. "We are extremely excited to add Trey to our division. He brings extensive knowledge and experience in our core competencies and will immediately expand our capacity to pursue new business as well as manage existing client relationships."

SingleHop says it is also setting a new industry standard by installing its new data center with servers that run 30 percent more efficiently than the traditional standard. As a result, the company will share these energy savings with their customers by offering a program rewarding new customers an immediate 10 percent discount.
