(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software developer Stratavia (www.stratavia.com) has officially opened its European operations with a London office, letting Stratavia become closer to existing customers and develop a local presence to meet the growing demand for automation and compliance solutions in Europe.
"Stratavia has been helping customers with global operations simplify their complex IT operations and improve compliance for many years," Stratavia president and chief executive officer Thor Culverhouse said in a statement. "We're very excited to be expanding our physical presence, and strengthening our ability to serve companies throughout Europe. I have full confidence that the UK-based team will deliver the same high quality of service as Stratavia has done in the US for many years."
According to the company's Thursday announcement, this end-of-year expansion punctuates an impressive year for the company, and it will play a large role in continuing Stratavia's growth and recognition as an industry-leading, independent data center automation solution provider, known for its "innovative approach to automating complex IT initiatives," including such quagmires as database administration and server provisioning.
Stratavia's flagship Data Palette platform automates complex, error-prone and repetitive data center administration tasks for a number of Fortune 1000 companies, which rely on it to define, build and orchestrate standard operating procedures, and report on mission-critical applications and IT operations.
The surge in demand for automation solutions has also heated competition. In November, IT management software developer CA (www.ca.com) announced new features for its Data Center Automation Manager, enabling it to manage real-time provisioning and performance between on-premise and off-premise clouds.
