Aventure Launches Affiliate Program

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- UK-based web hosting company Aventure Host (www.aventurehost.com) has launched a new web hosting affiliate and partner program, giving web hosting customers and marketing professionals the opportunity to advertise and sell web hosting solutions with per-sale commission of up to 20 percent.

According to Aventure Host's Thursday announcement, the company is also providing new affiliates with a 5 pound welcome bonus until February 2009. Affiliates will start with a commission of 10 percent with the but depending on affiliate performance, additional commission tiers are available up to 20 percent.

"Every six months we ask our clients to complete a survey on our services, our staff, and to give us feedback on what we're doing well, and other areas that we need to focus more on going forward," Aventure Host managing director Richard Kennedy said in a statement. "Over the last 24 months a large number of our clients have requested an affiliate program to help generate profit from their websites."

Aventure Host has created a partner portal that gives affiliates access to real-time tools to track payments, commission, click-throughs, usage reports, and online media such as banners, corner peels, videos and text links.

"Taking this feedback over several surveys in the last couple of years, we've been able to pin point the actual needs of our clients and find out what they really wanted in an affiliate program, and we've developed our system around most of those suggestions," Kennedy said.

Aventure Host offers a range of special bonuses based on affiliate performance. For instance, if an affiliate earns 250 pound, they receive a free domain and web hosting for a year. After earning 2,500 pound, Aventure Host gives them a free domain for 10 years and web hosting for life.

With its new affiliate program, Aventure Host joins other web hosts such as 1&1 Internet (www.1and1.com), Verio (www.verio.com) and The Planet (www.theplanet.com), which have been putting lucrative referral programs to work for some time, and have more recently launched partner portals.

Established in 2003, Aventure Host began as a off-shoot of Aventure Media, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It now provides hosting for more than 15,000 websites worldwide with a range of shared, reseller, virtual private servers, managed servers and hosted Microsoft application solutions.
