November 28, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Canadian Web hosting and colocation provider PEER 1 Network Enterprises (peer1.net) announced on Wednesday is now providing SaaS3, a software as a service incubation and enablement service, for its independent software vendor partners. SaaS3 assists small to mid-sized ISVs test, deploy and manage their Web 2.0, enterprise 2.0 and SaaS applications throughout the entire product lifecycle on the Microsoft Windows platform.

"As SaaS providers, ISVs have to operate differently than traditional ISVs by offering software plus services instead of just software. They can benefit greatly by from this type of innovative and affordable development tool for the Microsoft Windows platform."

PEER 1's SaaS3 program helps businesses through the essential aspects of building and deploying applications running on the Microsoft platform. ISVs can work on products from the ground up in an online developer sandbox, enabling them to confirm architectural design, conduct 'Proof of Concepts' and receive feedback from potential customers.

Once its ready for market, the product can be seamlessly transitioned online within PEER 1's managed hosting infrastructure. These services can help cut IT spending and consolidate resources needed for SaaS applications, says PEER 1. As the product and company grows, the SaaS3 program provides consultation and a fully scalable network to support it.

PEER 1 announced last month it made its first-ever annual profit of $3.63 million.
