(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- ServerBeach (www.serverbeach.com), a dedicated hosting subsidiary of PEER 1 (www.peer1.com), has been selected by photo sharing site Natuba (www.natuba.com) to provide web hosting and IT infrastructure for its site.

Created by ServerBeach co-founder Richard Yoo, Natuba is a snapshot photo sharing community that enables users to submit and view interesting snapshot photos.

Originally designed as a iPhone applications website, Natuba is now expanding its reach to support multiple mobile and web platforms. The broadening of the company's focus has led Natuba to face many new changes and growth opportunities, which requirs a flexible hosting solution that will meet these new demands.

"Our goal is to provide a simple way for people to share their photos and to make this process quick and easy, all based on a stable online environment," says Yoo. "In order to achieve this, we needed to rethink our network and hosting needs, which brought us to ServerBeach. The level of service and support is higher than what we found elsewhere, and we feel confident that our hosting and network will continue to grow efficiently with us, as our community of users increases."

The company moved its business to ServerBeach in September, where it says it "experienced a seamless transition" that was free of any network challenges or technical support outside of the transition.

Since the move, the Natuba site is processing at speeds nearly 16 times faster than before, enabling users to view their photos almost instantly after uploading them from their mobile phones.

ServerBeach's parent company, PEER 1, is an online IT infrastructure provider for more than 10,000 customers. The company recently expanded its storage area network-based backup capability to colocation and ServerBeach dedicated hosting customers.
