Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (www.peak10.com) announced on Monday it has signed a three-year extension agreement with etrials Worldwide (www.etrials.com), a provider of adaptive e-clinical software and services.
According to the company's most recent announcement, Peak 10 will be enhancing etrials' fully-managed, dedicated virtual environment at its facility in Raleigh, North Carolina, which Peak 10 recently expanded earlier this month.
Etrials Worldwide provides e-clinical software and services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and contract research organizations to coordinate tasks like data capture, logistics, patient interaction and trial management.
The company says it has facilitated over 900 trials involving more than 400,000 patients in 70 countries and has participated in 42 studies that resulted in 14 approved new drug applications and regulatory approvals.
"As we continue to experience growth in terms of the number of clinical studies we deploy, the volume of critical data in those studies, and increasingly global scale in which clinical trials are being managed, optimizing our system utilization was a priority and virtualization was the solution," says Chuck Piccirillo, etrials' VP of technology. "For etrials and our customers, clinical data integrity is of utmost importance, which is why we are continuing to partner with Peak 10 to ensure, together, we provide the highest levels of data integrity and achieve the highest availability possible."
Peak 10 has been providing redundant infrastructure hosting for etrials since December 2004.
Etrials says it first implemented Peak 10's virtualized solution as an alternative to a "traditional physical server hardware platform lease."
