November 10, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software developer Opsware (opsware.com) announced on Thursday that IT asset management integrator Sunflower Systems had joined its US-based reseller network.

Sunflower will offer Opsware's Asset Management System to enterprises in vertical sectors such government agencies and educational institutions. Opsware says the partnership expands Sunflower's capabilities into the management of hardware and software deployment and provides more efficient accountability and inventory for IT assets.

"As an Opsware partner, Sunflower's customers will benefit from best of breed IT automation and asset management," says Robert Kaehler, vice president and general manager at Sunflower Systems. "By integrating Opsware's advanced IT automation capabilities with Sunflower's products and leading best practices, we enable organizations to exercise more control and accountability of widely-distributed IT assets while significantly reducing costs."

Opsware has recently formed several international partnerships, expanding its reseller network to 45 partners.
