November 2, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and managed hosting provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Friday it has officially opened its second secure data center at its Jacksonville, Florida location to support the company's continued growth in the state. The new data center more than doubles Peak 10's Jacksonville operations, increasing facility capacity to over 35,000 total square feet and more than 18,000 square feet of raised floor in service.

It is housed in the same location as the company's existing facility, meeting Peak 10's high standards for security and redundancy.

The facility is engineered with multiple levels of security, multiple generators to ensure uninterruptible power, redundant HVAC systems, fire suppression and around-the-clock monitoring and management. Each Peak 10 facility is also interconnected by a private network enabling the company to meet its high availability objective and ensure business continuity for its customers' business critical applications.

Peak 10 announced last month that its quarterly Web cast series continues to offer insight and expertise to professionals in the IT industry.
