Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

November 1, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Boutique investment banking firm Cheval Capital (chevalcap.com) announced on Thursday that it has closed its 100th successful Web hosting transaction. The sale marks the 19th transaction that Cheval has completed in 2007.

Cheval achieved this milestone with the successful sale of Web hosting provider, Host Department to Nettlinx, a Bombay Stock Exchange listed company that provides Internet, bandwidth, hosting, VoIP and enterprise services. Cheval Capital represented Host Department in the transaction.

"We've been very fortunate since we began in this industry with Verio in the late 1990s to have worked with a large number of great companies," says Hillary Stiff, managing director for Cheval. "We had the pleasure in this case of working for Host Department and I believe that this will be a terrific transaction for both parties."

Cheval also recently launched its new website chevalcap.com, which now includes presentations that review current industry valuations and valuation methodology, level of acquisition and sale activity, as well as key factors in determining valuations and desirability to help interested parties looking at purchasing or selling Web hosting and related Internet services businesses.
