April 14, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — European Web hosting and domain registration provider 1&1 Internet (OneandOne.co.uk) and UK-based ISP Tiscali (Tiscali.com) announced on Monday that they have signed an agreement that places 1&1 as the partner of choice for domain name registration through the Tiscali.co.uk portal.
According to the companies, Tiscali users will be able to buy domains from £1.99 per year and web hosting packages from £1.99 per month through the arrangement. Users will also have access to other services, including eShops and dedicated servers.
Under the terms of the agreement, domain search modules will be placed on the Tiscali homepage, and within its Technology, Shopping, Broadband, Business, People & Chat and Computing channels. The partnership will also be promoted through newsletters, ROS co-branded banners and editorial content.
