October 29, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting and online marketing services provider Web.com (www.web.com) announced on Tuesday it has partnered with PowerPay (www.powerpay.biz) to provide Web.com's e-commerce customers with payment processing solutions, enhanced fraud detection and card security compliance features.
The news follows another partnership that Web.com announced earlier this month, where the company teamed up with Internet services provider Tucows to offer its customers Tucow's OpenSRS Personal Names service.
PowerPay says these payment processing solutions will help to significantly lower Web.com's customers credit card processing fees by up to 25 percent.
"Through this partnership, our e-commerce customers can enjoy substantial savings on merchant processing fees which could add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars in savings annually," says Jeff Stibel, president of Web.com.
The partnership will provide Web.com's customers with access to PowerPay's suite of payment processing services, which includes credit, debit, loyalty and gift cards, business-to-business and government purchasing cards; electronic check verification; high-speed and wireless point-of-sale solutions, and e-commerce payment capabilities.
All of these services are embedded with risk monitoring and secure processing solutions to provide complete protection to businesses and customers.
Web.com provides a wide range of online services, including Internet marketing and advertising, local search, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, lead generation, home contractor specific leads, website design and publishing, logo and brand development, and e-commerce solutions.
PowerPay offers various payment processing solutions for merchants via several channels including e-commerce, software developers, financial institutions, direct response marketers, affiliate/affinity relations and direct merchant-level sales.
