Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

October 18, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator Digital Realty Trust (digitalrealtytrust.com) announced on Thursday it has completed lease agreements with IT infrastructure services provider SAVVIS (savvis.net) for new data center facilities in Boston, Massachusetts and Chicago, Illinois.

The Boston facility totals approximately 66,000 square feet, including approximately 40,000 square feet of turn-key data center space and partially built-out raised floor space.  The turn-key data center lease for the new facility in Chicago totals approximately 20,000 square feet of raised floor.

"SAVVIS continues to be a very good customer for us, and these leases are a strong indication of the ongoing demand for our move-in ready turn-key data center space," says Chris Crosby, senior VP of Digital Realty Trust. "We are pleased to be able to support the growth of their business by continuing to provide them with flexible real estate solutions."

Digital Realty Trust owns, acquires, repositions and manages technology-related real estate. The company has 66 properties in 26 markets throughout North America and Europe comprising approximately 11.9 million rentable square feet, including 1.8 million square feet of space held for redevelopment.

Earlier this week, hosted email and collaboration solutions provider Mail2World selected SAVVIS to host its network infrastructure at its Southern California data center.
