ShareMethods Moves to SAS 70 Facility

October 13, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- On-demand sales and marketing library provider ShareMethods (sharemethods.com) announced this week that it has upgraded its operations into a SAS 70 Type II data center provided by AppSite Hosting (appsitehosting.com), a division of Vericenter (vericenter.com).

By hosting the ShareMethods service at Appsite’s data center, ShareMethods can provide its customers with a higher level of security, reliability, and responsiveness. AppSite Hosting will also help ShareMethods boost redundancy and scale more easily when adding customers.

SAS 70 Type II certification designates that the data center complies with the internationally recognized auditing standard, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The AppSite data center received an "unqualified" audit opinion, the highest level attainable.
