October 10, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Managed service provider and IT consulting firm Chesley Consulting (www.chesleyconsulting.com) has acquired the Web hosting and IT support arms of 2004-founded ICTNS (www.ictns.com) to expand its presence in Northern Michigan.

According to a Chesley Consulting announcement Friday, this deal will make the company the first Web host in Northern Michigan to offer both Unix and Windows based hosting. The company has offices in Petoskey, Michigan, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Chesley Consulting, founded in 2002, also hopes to improve Web hosting and IT support for current ICTNS clients, many of whom are local small businesses.

"Chesley Consulting offers all-inclusive small business support packages with dependable IT solutions from a staff of Microsoft and Cisco certified IT consultants," Chesley Consulting president Mark Avery said in a statement. "With the acquisition of ICTNS web hosting and IT support from ICTNS, our ultimate goal was to expand our local presence and service offerings."

"From our inception, we have constantly reiterated the importance of conducting business with integrity," Chesley Consulting director of operations Des Moore said in a statement. "The result of our commitment has been a rapidly growing and highly respected company that has quickly become one of the area's top IT consulting firms."
