October 10, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider 123Together (123together.com) announced on Tuesday it is offering a hosted archiving solution, enabling financial institutions to comply with Securities & Exchange Commission (sec.gov) regulations associated with Rule 22c-2 of the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Rule 22c-2 of the Investment Company Act of 1940 relates to the distribution of shareholder identity and transaction information is consistent with shareholder information agreements. Firms must be able to request and promptly receive shareholder information by October 16. To comply with the SEC regulations, investment firms must also revise their systems to accommodate the request, provisioning and use of shareholder information.

123Together's Hosted Exchange server archiving solution is a centralized multitasking mail repository designed to help financial institutions meet SEC regulations. The solution enables financial organizations to deliver a security-enhanced and virtually tamperproof archiving solution for email while enabling them to store and retrieve communications to comply with SEC data and transaction demands.

"Our hosted archiving solution eliminates upfront capital investment, frees up IT resources to focus on other tasks and allows them to quickly become compliant with SEC imposed deadlines," says Ravi Agarwal, CEO of 123Together. 123Together announced last month it launched a contest for all current and new affiliates for its hosted email service.
