October 3, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider SuperbHosting (superbhosting.net) announced on Thursday it is offering Nemedia's new RankSense (ranksense.com) SEO Management Suite.

"While most hosting companies focus on ensuring their hosting services are successful for their clients, we are taking our clients to the next level: ensuring their complete success online," says Curtis R. Curtis, Sr., VP of sales and marketing at Superb Internet. "Much of their success is directly tied to their ability to effectively market themselves in the search engines, which is critical to any online company driving visitors to their website. Using RankSense, our hosting clients can now easily and affordably get to the top of the search engines and succeed online."

With over 85 percent of all website traffic stems from search engines, meaning that better search rankings are vital to a site's success, says the company.

RankSense's search engine optimization software features more than 12 highly integrated tools, making it easier to increase the quantity and quality of traffic from search engines.

Developed by Nemedia, RankSense SEO Management software offers an integrated suite of SEO tools that organically ranks web pages within the major search engines for the keywords most relevant and profitable to the user.

Nemedia says that RankSense, which runs on a pay-as-you-go model, navigates the user through the process to "improve natural search engine rankings in an ethical way." Interested parties can view a demonstration of RankSense here.

Superb Internet provides a complete range of managed web hosting solutions, including virtual shared web hosting and dedicated server solutions. The company has offices and operations in McLean, Virginia, Tukwila, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia, serving customers in over 150 countries worldwide.

In July, Curtis, Sr. moderated a panel at HostingCon 2008 for a session entitled "Search Marketing Tools for the Hosting Industry," which discussed a range of effective search marketing tools and resources available for web hosts and their customers.

October 2009 - Web Hosting's All Star Team
This has been, for us, one of the most interesting, exciting and challenging build-ups to an issue of the magazine yet, Web Hosting's All Star Team. The balloting process was our first experiment with a kind of user participation we're planning to do a lot more with in the months to come. We had thousands of ballots submitted, with hundreds of write-in suggestions and a demonstration of user engagement that has us feeling super positive about the project.

July 2009 - What am I Worth?
One of the interesting luxuries of working on a project like the printed WHIR magazine is that it allows us to play with things like our point of view from one issue to the next. In recent months we've been giving added attention to the kind of practical and applicable advice aimed at smaller hosts and resellers. This issue carries on with that point of view, asking, in our cover story, "what am I worth?" It's a complicated question without a clear-cut answer.

May 2009 - The Blueprint for a Small Web Host
I was a little surprised by how difficult it became to see this idea through. We set out to assemble a blueprint for a small hosting business, but butted up pretty quickly against the general impossibility of covering all the territory that was out there to be covered. The basic constraints of a printed magazine, and the less-than-infinite amount of time we had available forced us to face the fact that we could never produce an exhaustive guide to starting a hosting company.
