HostMySite Hosts Firefox Site

September 29, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting company HostMySite.com (hostmysite.com) announced on Friday it contributes free, managed, dedicated hosting to SpreadFirefox, the online volunteer community devoted to promoting the Mozilla Firefox Web browser. To celebrate the two-hundred-millionth download of the Web browser, SpreadFirefox launched the Fox Tales Website (thefoxtales.com), providing users with a venue to share stories on how they promote Firefox.

HostMySite developed and deployed a multi-server hosting setup for SpreadFirefox, providing load-balanced servers to create a redundant and stable platform so that SpreadFirefox's 50,000 simultaneous visitors can easily view the Web site without experiencing slow page loads.
