September 27, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IT consulting firm THINKstrategies (thinkstrategies.com) announced on Thursday that it will be holding a webinar with IT service company Inforonics (inforonics.com) about software as a service. The webinar is scheduled to take place on September 28 at 12:00 p.m.

Titled "SaaS: It's all about the Service and Support," Jeff Kaplan, principal at THINKstrategies and Bob Murphy, director of sales at Inforonics, will discuss the hype around the ease of use of SaaS applications and the fact that the SaaS market has become as diverse as the overall software industry and the range of technical support challenges can sometimes be equally wide. The session will discuss these challenges and identify some of the industry best practices for technical support services in the SaaS market.

Attendees can register for the event online at the Mass Technology Leadership Council's (masstlc.org) website and it costs $20 for members and $40 for non-members.

Earlier this month, THINKstrategies launched a new set of packaged services aimed at helping software as a service and managed service providers ensure that they have properly designed and can reliably deliver their Web-based solutions.
